Store Holiday

Our store closes every Tuesday and third Wednesday every month. We also have some irregular holidays. On those days, we cannot ship your products or evaluate your shipping cost.

Reserving an order

JAPAN-TOY will reserve your order for up to 10 business days. If you fail to contact JAPAN-TOY.COM within this timeframe, JAPAN-TOY.COM reserves the right to cancel the reserved order, upon which you will be notified at the e-mail address you provided.

When you are ready to complete the order with the due payment, please contact JAPAN-TOY.COM:

JAPAN-TOY.COM reserves the right to deny or cancel reservation requests at anytime if abuse of this policy occurs. Abuse of this policy entails reserving multiple orders and not completing the order with due payment within the timeframe stated above.

JAPAN-TOY.COM reserves the right to handle each order on a case-by-case basis.

Backorder

Out-of-stocks can occur, so if the item(s) you ordered are out-of-stock we will notify you via email, and then request your preference on whether to:

Wait for the out-of-stock item to become available, and then send the entire order later.

Send item(s) we have now, and send the out-of-stock item(s) later (Note, that you will be responsible for paying the extra shipping cost.).

Cancel out-of-stock item.

Cancel whole order.

Exchange Rate

All prices listed on JAPAN-TOY.com are in Japanese Yen (JPY).
Exchange rates for charging on your credit card may differ from the rate you saw when you ordered.

Shipping

Your order will be shipped via EMS (estimated 3 - 7 days shipping time). Your shipping cost will be based on the country, weight, value, and size of the package. You will be responsible for all taxes, duties, and any other fees that may be levied by your country. (Note, that if you would like your package marked as a "gift" when we send it, please let us know in the "Comments/Special Delivery Instructions" section of the shopping cart.)

At this point, we only use EMS (Express Mail Service) for shipping.

Credit Card Policy

We may not accept orders by credit card from certain countries, so in that case, we will ask you to use PayPal or send an international money order the first time. (After you have shopped several times with PayPal, we may be able to accept your credit card.)

Unfortunately, due to licensing and/or safety restrictions, we may not be allowed to ship to your country. If this applies to your order, we will notify you via email and issue a prompt refund.

Cancellation Policy

If an order is cancelled after the order has been shipped, the customer is responsible for all shipping costs and a 10% restocking fee.

Return Policy

The purchase may be returned within 7 days after you received it. Items should be returned unopened or in original condition (cellophane wrap and/or tape still intact and unopened, including games and puzzles) with a copy of the invoice to JAPAN-TOY.COM.

A refund of the price of the item will be issued in the original form of payment used to purchase the item. Please note that this also applies to items received as gifts. If you return a gift, the purchaser will receive a refund in the original form of payment they used to make the purchase.

If you are returning the product because of a manufacturing defect, please contact the manufacturer directly for assistance and warranty repairs or replacements.

Product Colors

We at JAPAN-TOY.COM have done our best to accurately display the colors of the products on our web site. However, we cannot guarantee that your monitor’s display of these colors will be accurate.

Product’s Package Condition

We will do our best to ensure your ordered product’s package is the best condition possible. However, damage can occur between shipping of the product from the manufacturer to us, to you, so we cannot be responsible for any damage to the package (including small scratches and dents to the box).
