HISTORY
In 1966, the year the Beatles visited Japan, Hidetoshi Ito started a toy store in a city right next to Nagoya city.
In 1985, Akihiro and his brother and sister, the children of Mr. Ito, started helping manage the stores.
In 1997, Dreamland launched their web store for all Japanese customers.
Since the early 2000's, Dreamland has already become one of the most famous stores in the industry.
Dreamland has had a lot of collaboration with big toy manufacturers including Bandai and TakaraTomy, and they have made Dreamland special edition Hyper Yo-Yos, Licca-chan dolls, and Choro-Q mini cars.
Since he had already had a lot of toy inquiries from overseas while running Dreamland's Japanese web store, Akihiro has decided he wants to serve all customers in the world.
Akihiro asked Hiro (that's me!) to develop an English web store that people all over the world could use.
In February 2007, we finally launched the web site JAPAN-TOY.COM.
FACTS
JAPAN-TOY.COM is run by an actual retail toy store in Japan. We are not just an online toy store.
We will ship these toys to everywhere in the world at reasonable prices.
We are in Japan. We can handle any Japanese toys. Also, we can ship all Japanese toys as early as Japanese customers can get them.
We handle general toys, model kits, R/C cars, video games, trading card games, educational toys, puzzles, and yo-yos.
